Fundraising Trek - 2024
Trekking Route: Manaslu Circuit over Larkya Pass, Nepal.
Trip Length: 18 days in Nepal (14 days of trekking).
Dates: November 9th - 26th 2024.
Availability: Spots available.
Cost: £1900 GBP per person.
How it works:
25% of the trek cost is the fundraising part that goes directly to the upcoming projects. This 25% (£475) is the minimum contribution required to come on the trek and is included in the total trek cost of £1900. Any additional contributions beyond this are always welcome. If you have the time we encourage you to do some personal fundraising for this 25% (£475) and see if you can raise a bit more on top of the minimum.
The Trek:
This trek will be led by local trekking guide Lalit K Parajuli, through his trekking company: Himalayan Dynamic Adventure Ltd. All money raised will go directly to funding the upcoming Project LAMA projects.
We will be staying and eating at the local trekking lodges (teahouses) for the duration of the trek. These are comfortably rustic with shared bedrooms, beds with mattresses, and a communal dining room to relax in.
After some sightseeing in Kathmandu, we will drive to Maccha Khola and start our trek to the school in Ghap village, taking an off-the-beaten-track detour along the way to visit a hidden monastery high up in the mountains.
After spending a day with the students at the school we will continue up the valley where we will get spectacular mountain views of Mount Manaslu and the surrounding peaks. After some acclimatization, we will head up and over Larkya Pass (5160m) and continue towards the Annapurna Circuit where we will get a jeep back to Kathmandu.
