Nyima manages all the projects funded through Project LAMA treks and liases with government departments and the local village development committees. Nyima is responsible for providing direction for the school and other development projects.

Lalit personally leads all Project LAMA treks and is embedded in the Project LAMA team. He is a very experienced trekking guide who has worked in Europe and Asia.

Founder of Project LAMA Scotland

Jamie founded Project LAMA Scotland with the aim of raising funds to support Nyima and his community development projects in the Nubri valley. Jamie is based in Scotland and as a trustee of the charity oversees the fundraising and accounting for Project LAMA Scotland.

Bookings and Logistics

Jamie’s son, Ali coordinates bookings for the treks, helps out with logistics and takes care of the website.
